rating every episode of going seventeen (prelude)

i am currently super jobless and unemployed and bored since my job start date isn't until the end of june...
i miss seventeen quite a lot lately
lowkey flopped on all my final exams and the last academic year was genuinely the worst experience i've ever had in my whole life but now that seventeen's 11th anniversary has rolled around and passed us by, i am reminded of what truly matters in life
what i love about seventeen is no matter what happens and no matter how many changes there may be, they're always here and they've always remained a constant source of happiness for me throughout the years. it's always been this way. even as my own interest in them / energy to catch up with them may ebb and flow, they're always going to be in the same place whenever i want to return to them. always!
ever since the first song i heard by them (aju nice!) back in 2016, i find myself always comforted by them and this fact.
and even as i was consistently crashing out and having existential crises, as i kissed grad school goodbye, there seventeen's new episodes of gose that i hadn't seen were.
i remember when the first episode of going seventeen came out as a couple of vlogs while seventeen were working on al1 in los angeles. how time flies. everything stays!
spending the days rating every episode on
- concept (creativity, scale)
- how well it utilizes svt as a group (amount of members, individual members' personalities, inter-member chemistry, etc.)
- enjoyment (rewatchability, how much i laughed, etc.)
