as a 'winter break special' off going seventeen, the members play school yard games as 'sebong middle school'

tldr they did best friends again with a set of new games! i will say this was very exhilarating when i watched this episode as it first came out and i waited for the next, but on rewatch and with the familiarity, it didn't quite click as much again as best friends did (the progenitor of know & don't know, ofc). the skit part of best friends is missing, however, and u can tell... but on their 3rd try of a school game concept, sevong elementary school, they bring it back, so it seems they learned their lesson with that!
not much else to say with this episode since it's quite laid back in that regard in that this is the only thing they do. i remember every game here actually being really fun to watch beforehand but i guess a lot of that enjoyment is gone on rewatch? which is a weird feeling! but i'll take that to my joy and me being tired lately - i do still love the scenario of the scarecrow game, the sandal toss game, and dodgeball with the poses. there are quite a few running gags that start here too, like dokyeom's obsession with butts and marathon/malatang ㅋㅋ but otherwise it's chill! (and from what i've heard? this was supposed to be chill anyway for winter break)
PS i love that jun and minghao got to play red light green light this episode since they weren't able to during best friends!! definitely one of the highlights for me especially since jun regretted not being a part of it so much

chemistry: 8; i just love seeing these guys play games
enjoyment: 6.5; i DO remember really really loving this episode at one point but now it's just alright
